Back At It!

The past few months have been pretty hectic for my family.  No, nothing bad has happened.  In fact, it’s great news!  We put our home of 14 years up for sale back in May and just moved into a brand new home this past weekend.  It’s been several months of making sure the house is pristine for potential buyers while slowly trying to purge 14 years worth of “junk” to pack, all with a small toddler tornado leaving a trail of toys everywhere she goes.  You know how it is…

I feel I have kind of disappeared and put marketing myself off to the side for a bit, mostly because I didn’t want to add too much to my plate.  But we are now moved in, and we can take our time getting boxes unpacked and just breathe.

D75_2924_2048My husband and I did take a short weekend break back in June to check out the World of Avatar over at Animal Kingdom and were greatly impressed!  We went in the evening when we first arrived to get some nice sunset photos, and then again the next morning to get some full daylight pics.  Oh, and of course we rode Flight of Passage and Na’vi River Journey while we were there!!  We have some great pics from Na’vi River Journey, but I don’t want to spoil anything for you if you haven’t been yet.

One word for Pandora:  Breathtaking.

Animal Kingdom is no longer a half day park.  Since you can only get a FastPass for one of the two new attractions in Pandora, you’re going to want to go first thing in the morning to get in a standby line.  I would recommend the standby line for Flight of Passage, since there is some pretty cool sights to help you pass the time.  Grab lunch at Satu’li Canteen, then explore the rest of Animal Kingdom before coming back to see the bioluminescent effects in Pandora during sunset/evening.

Well, this is just a quick post to let everyone know that I’m still around, and you’ll be hearing from me again on a more regular basis.  ºoº
