It’s Good To Be Home

Well, my Disney friends, I’ve just returned from a whirlwind vacation!  Relaxing?  No, not really.  Fun?  Absolutely!

I have always pointed out to my husband that I have never been able to spend my birthday at Disney.  Of course, this was for two very good reasons…the heat and the crowds!  Having a birthday at the end of July means peak crowds and temperatures in Orlando.  But this was a big birthday, so we made an exception this time.  🙂

We began with a quick 2 night stay at Disney’s Boardwalk Resort, a place I’ve been wanting to try for a very long time.  After that, we drove down to Miami for a trip on Royal Caribbean’s Enchantment of the Seas for a cruise to the Bahamas and Key West.  On our way back home to Georgia, we stopped by Orlando again for another quick 2 night stay, this time at the brand new Sapphire Falls resort at Universal.

I’ll be writing a more detailed trip report later, once my husband and I have gone through our photos.  In the meantime, here’s a sneak peak!!
