Several months ago, a friend won a contest online and received a beautiful handmade Snow White dress in a size 2. It was too small for her daughter, so she thought of my Kenzie. 🙂 Well, it was way too big for her, and still sort of is, but she was able to finally wear it on our recent trip. We received so many compliments on the dress, so now I can’t wait to buy more.
We went to Epcot on a Friday night, wanting to get a photo of Kenzie in her Snow White dress with Snow White. When we made it back to the Germany pavilion, we were told that the princess had an unexpected emergency involving the 7 Dwarfs that wasn’t listed in the times guide, and she would not be appearing. We were a little disappointed, since that was our entire reason for going to Epcot that evening, but we weren’t going to let that ruin our night. Since we were in Germany, I thought I might as well visit Karamell-Kuche and get my usual caramel filled chocolate cookie and caramel popcorn.
When I came out and saw his picture, we decided to snap a few more photos around the world showcase. This beauty came from the Italy pavilion, with Spaceship Earth in the background.
We soon discovered that a lot of the Epcot Flower & Garden topiaries were up, including the famous Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs display, so we made use of those, as well.
Monday was our Magic Kingdom day, and her dress wasn’t very dirty from our photo adventures around Epcot, so we decided to let Kenzie wear her dress again in another attempt to find Snow White. When we arrived, there was only a 15 minute wait to see Mickey Mouse, so we jumped in line. As we were exiting, we found Snow meeting guests right outside the Town Square Theater, so we jumped in line there, too. Kenzie and Snow were best buddies right away. Snow gave Kenzie lots of tickles and even a kiss.
We went on to meet more characters around the park, and even throw a few rides in there, as well. Her dress was such a success, and I can’t wait to buy more! If you like her dress and are interested in one for yourself, it’s a Placard Original. You can follow the Facebook group here to stay up to date on the latest releases (Belle is coming this Thursday!), or join the resale group here to find past styles. I’m currently watching the resale page like a hawk, looking for both Rapunzel and Ariel for our next trips!
Oh, any my husband is now getting into videography and put this video together of Kenzie’s character meets in her Snow White dress. Enjoy!
